Allocating weekly sessions for showing cartoon films for teaching reading and writing. The use of electronic applications help students in the reading and writing process as tools to enable children to become readers, writers, speakers and listeners in English and Arabic. We aim to enable our pupils to go beyond knowledge to become avid readers, aspiring writers and creative thinkers.

Teaching Mathematics

Manarat Al Riyadh National & International Schools in its early year program to teach mathematics, relies on learning linked to the reality of life, as students master mathematical ideas that can be applied in new situations and contexts.

We invest in key math concepts from kindergarten, then we enhance their presence in the primary stage and teach them the real-life experiences in the middle and secondary levels. By focusing on developing a sense of numbers, strategies for projecting mathematical problems into reality, critical thinking, and solving problems effectively, we support them with programs that enable them to have the needed facts and skills to excel in university levels and future jobs.

We have also provided our students with plans, programs, and school activities for teaching mathematics that serve them as a stand-alone major. In addition to being a major, it integrates with multiple collaborative projects that transcend materials, and contributes to expanding their field of learning to include statistics and possibilities that are important and vital for mastering sciences and humanities.

Teaching Science

Manarat Al Riyadh National & International Schools seek to achieve a great ambition of teaching science by preparing innovative individuals through managing innovation in teaching physical, chemical, life sciences, and engineering design, which are an essential part of the quest to understand our world and all of which play an important role in our existing curricula for projects.

Our science education system relies on an innovative curricula that enhances this objective, diversifies the educational paths and provides an educational environment based on advanced technologies. The content of learning and teaching coincides with the teaching of scientists’ practices so that our students gain a deep understanding of basic scientific ideas as well as skills in observation, experimentation, inquiry, and exploration of important scientific problems and the challenges they meet. Our students learn to apply and practice  scientific thinking by asking questions and finding their answers.

This comes as a commitment from us to help our students to qualify for scholarships and to help them enroll in prestigious international universities by providing the appropriate environment and experts in the fields of science. Also, we are constantly working to develop laboratory systems for scientific subjects covering all sciences.

National Identity Subjects

Based on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia vision in preserving the national identity in the educational curriculum, we in Manarat Al Riyadh National & International Schools work on developing the spiritual and cultural aspects of our students in addition to studying the history and geography of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and focusing on the Arabic language. We are launching initiatives throughout the year on the “heritage of Arabic language” for Arabic speaking students as their mother tongue, and we are also launching enrichment programs on “Arabic as an additional language” for Arabic language learners of non-native speakers.

Arts and life skills

In Manarat Al Riyadh National & International Schools, we believe that life skills are of great importance and must be taken care of by developing them among students.

During regular schools visits, our teams explore the opportunities our students have to enhance life skills and constantly help schools improve this crucial area of learning. Our schools have provided numerous arts and humanities’ programs to explore and understand human work including literature, history, geography, economics, and other sciences. Our curriculum are in line with American standards, whereby students learn arts and humanities by asking questions, engaging in developing innovative designs, and actively participating in the ongoing human pursuit of learning, meditation, creativity, and contribution.

Using Technology

Manarat Al Riyadh National & International Schools provide a conducive technological environment that enables its students to interact with technology and computer science, not as consumers or users, but rather to express themselves in solving their problems in a modern and creative way. This approach is optimized by learning techniques and applications for scientific management via distant learning, which was also integrated in Maarif Portal that allowed them to interact virtually.

Schools also provided their students with the use of 3D printing devices and created a technology education environment by providing the classes with interactive whiteboards and other technologies that are an important step to move the educational process to advanced levels, and to facilitate students’ learning.

Technology consultants at Maarif for Education confirm that the spread of information technology and the presence of the fast internet contributes to the increased interaction of students within the educational process. This has taken the concept of education to a new level with enhanced impact in raising the efficiency of educational outcomes in all sectors of education.

Learning Outside the School

Manarat Al Riyadh National & International Schools established the principle that education is not limited to going to school, instead it reaffirmed ‘if you cannot go to it, it will come to you.’ We have provided an education system outside the classroom through a set of technology and communication tools that are used to teach and learn, and through which we increase our students ’achievements, and improve their behavior and participation, including those who face difficulty engaging in the classroom environment.

Also, learning outside the classroom is available to all our students anytime and anywhere, and this comes from a belief from Manarat Al Riyadh National & International Schools that all our students should practice the learned skills both inside and outside the school. Among the ways, our schools make learning extend outside the classroom by offering field trips, distant learning opportunities, hands-on activities, and by employing technology inside and outside the classroom.
