The student, Abdul Malik Ibrahim Al-Akefi, from the secondary school in Manarat Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah came second at the level of the general administration of education in Madinah Region in the project of the Arab Reading Challenge launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the United Arab Emirates Dubai, to encourage student reading in the Arab world, with more than 1 million students committed to 50 million books per academic year.

Al-Akkafi's win comes as a result of intensive tours through five stages, including each stage of reading ten books and summarizing them in the passports of the challenge.

It should be noted that Abdulmalik was nominated for the final qualifying round the Kingdom in Riyadh.

Mr. Mahmoud bin Awad Al-Ghabban, the General Supervisor of Madinat Al Madinah Al-Munawarah schools, congratulated Al-Akkafi asserting that the Arab Reading Challenge project contributes to the development of the love of reading among the youth generation in the Arab world.
